Dr Ng Kheng Hong has more than 20 years of colorectal surgery experience. In the past two decades, he has established himself as the champion of minimally-invasive techniques and robotic surgery for the treatment of colorectal conditions.
The first surgeon in Singapore to offer single-incision laparoscopic colorectal surgery, he was previously appointed the Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery at Singapore General Hospital, and was credited for introducing robotics into various surgical disciplines.
Dr Ng is an advocate of regular colonoscopy screening. He is skilled at removing polyps during the colonoscopy procedure, thereby helping in the prevention of colorectal cancer.
